The Resort

A few months ago, LongBeach Mauritius in Belle Mare relaunched and the resort has been going through a lot of changes. It is one of the most vibrant hotels on the island and Wellness is one of their 4 pillars.

One of the big changes the hotel did was the management of the spa. They started a partnership with Cinq Mōndes – a very famous Spa brand, from Paris, France. This place is set to become one of the best spas in Mauritius – without any doubt! Cinq Mondes Spa at LongBeach is immense – with 12 treatment rooms, a hammam, extraordinary relaxation areas, hairdressers and makeup artist and all of this nestled in beautiful nature a little hidden away from the busy hotel.

The treatments

I really enjoyed my treatments: I had an Ayurvedic full body massage – and it was super relaxing. The therapist Vishal has trained in India and worked many years abroad before coming back to Mauritius – he is absolutely amazing. I then had a facial and am sure it was nice, because I fell asleep! I just love Cinq Mondes’ products – their spa products are mainly from organic and natural sources, manufactured following strict protocols (no parabens, no phenoxyethanol; no silicone, no mineral oil; no artificial colouring). The fragrances and the texture of their creams are amazing. I really felt a different person when I was finished – relaxed and my skin was so hydrated and illuminated. After the treatment I was escorted to their relaxation area – offered a drink and some small healthy snacks.

The amazing environment, the treatments and the attentiveness of the staff made my experience at the Cinq Mondes Spa one of the best spas I have had in Mauritius.

Type of treatments offered at the Cinq Mondes Spa LongBeach Mauritius:

The list is very long and everyone will find something to fulfil their needs! Their treatments run for 20min/50min/80min and are divided up in different rituals – such as the Japanese ritual or the Balinese ritual for example – each ritual has it’s own perfumes – one more enchanting than an other!

They then offer daily or several days a week packages – so that you really can be pampered and enjoy a whole day (or more) of spa with Cinq Mondes. I actually really like that idea if you are staying in a hotel that you can book several days of coordinated treatments!

And of course they offer facials, have a child menu – should anyone want a mum-daughter spa day while they are on holiday in Mauritius. They also organise ‘Ladies Spa Days’ should a few friends fancy some serious pampering at a Luxury Spa in Mauritius!

I am attaching the menu here for perusal.
